Role of the College representative
The successful candidate will represent the College in discussions about guideline endorsement, implementation and strategic issues, and will help ensure paramedicine and pre-hospital emergency care perspectives are considered in the committee’s work.
The representative may also be asked to share draft recommendations within the College, support internal consultation where appropriate, and contribute advice on implementation and dissemination, including potential contextual barriers.
Expected commitment

- Participation as the College’s nominated representative on the Steering Committee.
- Attendance at (virtual) committee meetings, with at least one meeting anticipated during Phase 1, which is expected to run from July to December 2026.
- Review of relevant committee papers and draft recommendations as required.
- Facilitation of internal College input or consultation where appropriate.
- Support for communication, implementation and dissemination activities related to the COPD-X Guidelines.
