The annual Respiratory National Scientist Core Education and Training (RENASCENT) is a program of the Canadian Lung Association (CLA) co-hosted in partnership with the Canadian Respiratory Research Network (CRRN) and the Canadian Thoracic Society (CTS). RENASCENT is an important annual event for trainees and new investigators in the respiratory community and offers interactive sessions for the development of academic, professional, leadership and career skills required to succeed within the health research ecosystem.
This year's topic is Community Engagement - Authentic involvement of people with lived experience in research.
Our speakers are Dr Pat Camp (University of British Columbia) and Travis Holyk (Carrier Sekani Family Service).
RENASCENT will be held on April 16th 2026 from 07:00 - 09:00 the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary. Registration is free.
