Raise Project Survey on Generational Renewal in Agriculture |
Introduction
This survey is intended for farmers and others actively involved in the agricultural sector. This information is being gathered as part of a research initiative focused on understanding the challenges and opportunities related to generational renewal within Irish agriculture, specifically in the dairy sector. The study is conducted under the RAISE (Renewal in Agriculture through Intergenerational Support & Empowerment) European Innovation Partnership (EIP), led by ICOS in collaboration with Teagasc and other industry stakeholders.
Your views and insights will help inform the development of targeted training programs, strategies, and supports to promote sustainable generational renewal among farmers. The results of this research may lead to the creation of resources that will benefit current and future generations of farmers by addressing skills gaps and easing succession processes, ultimately contributing to the long-term sustainability of Irish agriculture.
All information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and will be used only in aggregate form to identify key themes and insights. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any stage before the discussions begin. Please feel free to share this invitation with other relevant stakeholders involved in Irish agriculture.
If you have any questions or would like further information about the study, please contact Billy Goodburn at ICOS via email: billy.goodburn@icos.ie or Conor Hogan at Teagasc via email: conor.hogan@teagasc.ie
Thank you very much for your time and contribution to this important research.
