ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)
-Minimum three years experience in a clinical or healthcare environment required
-University educated in Nursing, Health Administration, Business/Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
-Registration or certification in nursing or related health care field, with additional education in quality and/or analytics preferred
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data, and Power BI for building semantic data models and developing reports and/or dashboards preferred
-Certified Health Information Management Professional and member in good standing with CHIMA preferred
-An understanding of clinical, statistical, and financial information and how it influences healthcare funding models and impacts patient care
-Experience in analyzing, benchmarking and presenting on healthcare quality-related data through key performance indicators.
-Experience with CIHI database sets including DAD, NACRS, CCRS, NRS, OMHRS
-Experience with data mining through various hospital information systems. Tools such as Power BI, SQL, Access, Excel, ESM, Winrecs, Oracle and other Microsoft products may be utilized.
-MIS Level I & II certification preferred
-Satisfactory Attendance
