The Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Transform Finance are working with the Employee Ownership Association (EOA) to look at how EOT businesses access finance and investment, and what more could be made available to support a strong and thriving EO sector across the UK.
This short survey is aimed at majority-EOT-owned businesses, asking about the need for and use of external finance at various points. It should take 15-20 minutes to complete, and would be most conveniently completed by your CFO or Finance Director.
Your responses will be completely anonymous. This data will be used primarily to inform our discussions with project partners and decisions for action. The anonymous data set will be shared with the EOA for their own market analysis, and selected key findings from our work may later be shared publicly for educational and influencing purposes.
The more businesses that respond, the stronger our findings will be. This is a real opportunity to shape what investment in the EOT sector looks like. This survey will be open until midnight BST on 22 June 2026.
