Risk Prediction Survey: Patients Partners and Caregivers

The purpose of the survey is to understand the perceptions of predicting mucositis/cancer treatment side effects among patients partners and caregivers. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and has been approved by the ethics committee of Rambam Health Care Campus with the reference number RMB-24-0443.
The following questions relate to the side effects of cancer treatment and how you feel about the idea of being able to predict these side effects. We are especially interested in a specific side effect called mucositis. Mucositis is the term used to describe ulcers or sores in the mouth and in the intestines/bowel, which can lead to pain, diarrhea (loose stools), and other unpleasant symptoms. Mucositis is caused by a variety of cancer treatments but is unpredictable – affecting some but not all patients.

You (or the person you cared for) may or may not have mucositis during cancer treatment. Even if you (or the person you cared for) did not have mucositis, please answer the best you can.

Please answer these questions for yourself if you have/had cancer. If you took care of someone with cancer, think of them when you answer.
Thank you for your time.
