Your voice mattersThe Local Government Commission is looking at whether changes are needed in Southland’s local government structure. We want to hear your views on the issues and opportunities you see for local government in the region.
Current structure
There are four Councils in Southland, these are:
- Gore District Council
- Southland District Council
- Invercargill City Council
- Southland Regional Council (Environment Southland)
These councils provide services and infrastructure that affect people across the region.
