2026 Q2 Outlook Pulse of Lighting Market Survey
Summertime is here which means it is time for our Q2 Pulse of Lighting survey.
About 10,000 people had the opportunity to "walk" LEDucation's 565 booths (here's a story on
ElectricalTrends
and one on
US Lighting Trends
)
where many talked about the market - interest in controls, some new European decorative, components manufacturers, talk about "being busy but much requoting", opportunities due to retrofit opportunities, projects being delayed, the data center lighting opportunity, and more.
Feedback from distributors, manufacturers, reps / agents remain optimistic (hopefully) but you know what that means as 1) a strategy and 2) revenue generation.
There are companies that are winning and taking share and others treading water. We're also hearing about niche segments of the market, and geographies, that represent opportunities.
Some distributors hope for a price cut due to changes in tariffs, but haven't seen yet unless manufacturers are fighting for a project.
With all of this as a backdrop, it's time for the Q2 Pulse of Lighting survey.
We'd appreciate it if you could spare 3 minutes (or less) and share what you are seeing in your market for our 2026 Q2 Pulse of Lighting survey. Your input provides you a free industry report later this month.
The survey is now open. We need your input
