Thank you for your interest in the Pūkoʻa Fellows Program. This program aims to provide emerging Pasifika leaders in the diaspora with the tools, values, and knowledge base to maintain their connection to Oceania through community-rooted advocacy on their college campuses and beyond.

This application has two sections:
  1. Demographic & Background Information: You will upload a resume OR a simple list of involvement (school clubs, jobs, family responsibilities, church, volunteer work—all forms of labor count).
  2. Four Short Answer Questions
    • Identity - What role does your heritage and culture play in your life? This helps us understand how you connect to your roots, your community, and the parts of your story that ground you—whether you grew up close to culture or are reconnecting now.
    • Interest - Why do you want to join this fellowship? We want to know what you’re hoping to learn or build, and how we can best support you through the program.
    • Community - Share a time you uplifted a community important to you. This isn’t about formal leadership—it can be family, friends, cultural clubs, faith groups, volunteer work, anything. It helps us see your values in action.
    • Diaspora experience - How has your relationship to the Pasifika diaspora shaped your college experience? Your answer helps us understand your lived experience and the context you’re moving through.
