The MPSA organizes a series of sessions at the conference that discuss aspects of the academic profession. Each session will have 3-6 speakers, and there are no written papers.   One of the speakers will also serve as the chair of the session, and that will be assigned later.  Participation on a professional development session does NOT count against your limit of being on two sessions at the MPSA conference. 

Most of these professional development sessions will be digitally recorded for future release.  If you have questions or want to suggest other topics to include, please contact the MPSA at  You may submit an entire roundtable for this section by using the regular proposal submission form.
