Celebrating Excellence: Women in Credit Insurance Awards 2026 - Innovation and Trailblazer Award

Innovation and Trailblazer Award

We are pleased to announce the Women in Credit Insurance UK Awards – a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in the credit insurance industry in UK. These awards honor the exceptional contributions, innovative spirit, and leadership of women who have made significant strides in their field.
We invite you to participate by nominating outstanding candidates who exemplify excellence, creativity, and impact in our industry.

Innovation and Trailblazer Award
The Innovation and Trailblazer Award is a new WICI UK award category for 2026, bringing together the focus of previous Innovation and Trailblazer categories into one award that recognises a woman who is driving progress, challenging convention, and helping shape the future of the credit insurance industry.

This award celebrates women who bring fresh thinking, practical creativity, and courageous action to their role. A strong nominee may have introduced a new idea, improved a process, supported digital transformation, opened new opportunities, or inspired others to think differently about how the industry can evolve.
Submit Your Nominations

We invite you to celebrate the remarkable women shaping the credit insurance industry by submitting your nominations — and we can’t stress this enough:
Only detailed, well-written nominations will have a real chance of being selected.

To help the jury fully understand the impact of your nominee, please include as much relevant information as possible. A strong nomination should go beyond a job title — it should showcase the nominee’s accomplishments, leadership, and lasting contributions to the industry.

Suggested Detail to Include in Your Nomination
  • Fresh thinking: Examples of how she has introduced new ideas, challenged established ways of working, or encouraged others to approach problems differently.
  • Trailblazing impact: Examples of where she has broken new ground, taken initiative, created opportunity, or paved the way for others in the credit insurance industry.
  • Courage to challenge: Evidence that she has constructively questioned existing approaches, championed change, or advocated for progress even when it required persistence or resilience.
  • Digital or operational progress: Details of any role she has played in technology adoption, data-led decision-making, system improvement, automation, process change, or modernisation.
  • Inclusive progress: Evidence that her innovation or trailblazing contribution has helped create more accessible, inclusive, collaborative, or supportive ways of working.
  • Measurable or visible outcomes: Results that show the difference she has made, such as improved performance, increased engagement, stronger relationships, time saved, new opportunities created, or positive feedback from others.
A strong nomination should explain both the idea and the impact. It should show what changed because of the nominee’s contribution, why it mattered, and how her actions have helped move people, teams, organisations, or the wider credit insurance industry

🛑 Short or vague nominations may not give the jury enough insight to fairly assess your nominee.
