Kia ora and welcome.

Last year's bowel screening promotion was very successful - so we're doing it again! The aim of the May primary & community care focus is to increase participation in bowel screening through general practice and health workers having conversations with patients who are eligible for the free national bowel screening programme.

Free bowel screening is available to people aged 60 to 74, and from the age of 50 for Māori and Pacific people in some areas.

We would very much appreciate your participation, as healthcare professionals are key to encouraging uptake of bowel screening.
