The Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS) and the Kawartha Lakes Police Services Board are developing a new Strategic Plan to guide policing in the City of Kawartha Lakes over the coming years. This plan will establish our highest priorities, set a clear vision for the future, and provide direction on how policing resources are allocated.
The new Strategic Plan will also support a proactive approach to community safety and well-being and help KLPS meet the legislative requirements set out in the recently updated Community Safety and Policing Act. Input from the community is essential to ensure the plan reflects local needs, expectations, and priorities.
This survey is your opportunity to have a direct say in the future direction of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service. We welcome feedback from all community members, including long-time residents, newcomers, and business owners.
The survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
This survey will be open from January 13, 2026 to February 13, 2026.

The survey is being directly managed by StrategyCorp, and all survey responses will remain confidential and anonymous. Results will only be shared and/or published in aggregate form.
