Garden Competition 2026 Survey

The garden competition is open to all whg customers. Each category will have a winning prize of £75 and £35 for second place.

How to Enter
• Choose the category that best suits your garden
• Submit up to 5 photographs of your garden looking its best
• Provide your details

The competition closes on 10th July, so you can take your photos when your garden is in full bloom and the British weather is being kind!

Judging
Shortlisted entries will be visited for judging at the end of July, so please ensure you are available during this time (we will call you before coming out).

We will only use the information you provide to contact you about your entry, your data will not be used for any other purpose.

We may use your photos in future publications.

Best garden
Most creative - does your garden have the ‘wow’ factor? Judges will be looking for a variety of plants in different colours and shapes, and ornaments used to good effect. we want to see the best use of space, and a good variety of plants or flowers in the space available.

Best Balcony/Patio
This could be your patio, balcony or similar area. Showcase your blossoming blooms that are in containers, hanging baskets or even something a little different like a vertical garden!

Best sustainable
Is your garden helping the environment in some way? Do you incorporate eco-friendly techniques such as composting, water conservation? Are you growing your own fruit and veg? Supporting biodiversity with wildflowers and wildlife (bug hotels, bird boxes, hedgehog houses, wormery)? Or even incorporating recycled elements into your outdoor space? - thoughtfully designed to be accessible to people of all abilities

Community Spirit
Do you work as part of a team to create and maintain a communal garden or area of communal space that helps to enhance the community and bring people together?
