Bolton Community Practice CIC are consulting with our patients and stakeholders on the future of Ladybridge Surgery.
The purpose of this consultation is to understand and consider the views of our patients and stakeholders and understand what impacts any changes may have on patients and stakeholders in the future.
Why are we consulting with patients on the future of Ladybridge Surgery
Ladybridge Surgery is an old building which has had numerous issues in recent years, including multiple leaks and anti-social behaviour. In recent years we have had to close the surgery or reduce our clinical capacity at the surgery due to leaks or damage from the leak.
The surgery itself is run down and no longer fit to deliver high quality patient care. The building is too small to meet the future demands of the patient population. There is no room to expand within the surgery and the surgery is in need of major refurbishment in order to comply with current healthcare building standards. A review of Ladybridge Premises by the local ICB in 2023 deemed that Ladybridge Surgery was in need of new premises.
We are now undertaking an exercise to look at our options in terms of the future of Ladybridge Surgery
