At our February 19 Community Open House, we heard overwhelming support for programmed open space with community gathering opportunities and expanded riverfront access. Now it's time to get specific—think amenities, programming, food and entertainment, or a new life for the existing building.

The 2026 Feasibility Study identified Programmed Open Space as a potential redevelopment scenario. An example of a Programmed Open Space concept is provided below, and the full study is available for review here.

This short survey will help us understand your priorities as we gear up for our April 8 Community Workshop, where participants will engage in hands-on activities to design and envision site layouts. Please keep in mind that this space can be designed in many different ways with a range of potential features. This survey is intended to explore some ideas but also identify common themes. As the site plan is refined, there will continue to be opportunities to incorporate feedback and new ideas.
