Digital Screen Time's Impact and the Evolving Vision Needs of America’s Veteran Community
PDS Optical is surveying U.S. military Veterans on the impact of digital screens on their vision and eye health. This survey aims to better understand the evolving eye care needs of America's Veteran community.
The survey is for anyone who has served in the U.S. Armed Services, Reserves, or National Guard. You do not have to currently receive health benefits from the VA or have a VA disability rating to participate. The topics in this survey include vision, eye health, awareness of benefits, along with screen time habits, and use.
Responses are confidential. The results of this survey will be reported at the group level. Findings from this survey will inform PDS Optical on Veterans eye and vision health and be published in a report to the public.
Several barriers are in place to keep the participant data securely stored. Data will be securely stored using both physical (locks) and electronic barriers (passwords) with access to individual survey responses and data analysis will be restricted to PDS Optical employees and personnel involved in creating this survey and the subsequent report. The survey is using secure http to protect your responses. While we are using the highest level of security available, we cannot guarantee complete security from potential data breaches.
The total time to complete this survey is approximately 6 minutes.
