Introduction
Thank you for providing your valuable insights for this survey conducted by Training magazine in partnership with Panopto. Training materials and institutional knowledge (such as video, screen captures, slides, documents) often are scattered, so employees struggle to find what they need when it matters. This survey aims to quantify the priorities and goals of Learning and Development (L&D) and training professionals and determine how a system that unifies capture, governance, AI indexing, and search across media can help improve key outcomes. Homing in on both overall training content management and video training content management specifically, the survey will measure how effectively employees can find the answers they need when they need them (the “findability gap”) and pinpoint which knowledge/content management capabilities move the needle of L&D and training outcomes the most.
