AMPO's Nominating Committee will review interested nominees and will prepare a slate of qualified candidates for the 2027-2029 Board of Directors.
AMPO's bylaws require the following from all interested candidates:

- Each candidate must be at all times the Executive Director or Transportation Director of, a Voting Member of the Association;
- To qualify as a Voting Member of the Association, the organization in which you represent must be in good financial standing with AMPO; and
- No more than one individual from the same state shall serve on the Board of Directors at any one time.
