Central El Camino Real Multimodal Plan Survey (Phase 2)

Thank you for your interest in providing feedback on the Central El Camino Plan! Your input will help SamTrans and the following cities improve safety for people walking, biking, driving or taking transit along El Camino Real:
  • San Mateo
  • Belmont
  • San Carlos
  • Redwood City
More information about this project is available here.

You'll have a chance to review various images showing examples of different options for how the existing street space could be used on El Camino Real. Two features of El Camino Real cannot change and thus will stay the same in every option: two vehicle lanes in each direction and sidewalks on both sides of the street. Space for left turns at intersections is also included in most locations, except where space is very limited.

Your input will help inform SamTrans’ and the cities’ next steps in working with Caltrans to make improvements to El Camino Real.

If you do not have an alternate preference for a particular city, feel free to leave it blank.
