2026 Youth Participatory Grantmaking Application

Logistics and Eligibility

Do you want to help your community? Do you want your voice to be heard on issues that matter to you? If so, you may be a fit for the Carlson Family Foundation Youth Participatory Grantmaking program. If accepted into the program, you will design a grant opportunity, review applications, and decide award amounts for local nonprofit organizations. You will strengthen your skills in civic engagement, collaboration, conflict resolution, leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making.

Applications are due Friday, April 3.

Finalists will be interviewed.

Decisions will be announced in early May.

Programming starts in June - exact dates depend on participant availability.
