INTERPOL Deepfake Detection Workshop

Call for Speakers


This is a call for speakers for the INTERPOL Deepfake Detection Workshop to be held on 15 - 16 October 2026 in Singapore.

We invite academic experts with technical knowledge and technology companies/solution providers with deepfake detection tools to register their interest in presenting at this workshop by completing the form below by 24 August 2026. Please register using your professional email address. Potential speakers are encouraged to submit their registrations as soon as possible as speaking slots are limited.

Submission of this form is the first step in the speaker selection process. The organizing team will review your registration and be in touch with you to assess your potential participation in this workshop as a speaker. Selected speakers will be requested to deliver a learning session/demo for law enforcement officers.

Role of Speakers:
  • Provide trainees with a brief overview of the synthetic media-enabled crime landscape.
  • Provide hands-on sessions covering advanced deepfake detection techniques.
  • Offer trainees insights into how synthetic media detection tools function, with a focus on one/two specific tool(s).
  • Highlight the importance of explainability and demonstrate how the tool(s) in focus achieve this goal.
  • Introduce trainees to the basic utilization of the tool(s) in focus for policing activities.
  • While commercial presentations are not the focus, speakers are encouraged to emphasize how the tool(s) in focus benefit law enforcement.
