Call for Presentations: Ohio Alcohol Misuse Prevention Conference 2026 |
Prevention Action Alliance, with support from Ohio Liquor (OHLQ), is proud to host the fourth annual Ohio Alcohol Misuse Prevention Conference (formerly the Ohio Alcohol Conference) on March 26, 2026. The conference will be held at the Dublin Integrated Education Center in Dublin, Ohio from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
The conference theme is "Prevention Without Age Limits: Tackling Alcohol Use at Every Life Stage." As such, we are seeking presentations highlighting alcohol misuse prevention strategies for people at every life stage, including the effects on babies when there is alcohol use during pregnancy (for example, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder), children and teens, young adults, mid-life populations, and older adults, as well as multigenerational approaches to prevention.
All breakout session presentations will be one hour, with sessions occurring from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:15 PM - 2:15 PM.
Selected presentations will receive a stipend of $750 to cover both the presenter's time and associated travel costs. One stipend per presentation (not presenter) will be offered; up to two presenters for each selected presentation will receive complimentary event registration.
The call for presentations will close at 5:00 PM on January 23, 2026. Applicants will be notified of a decision by Monday, February 9.
