Fall 2026 Northern New Mexico College Scholarship Application

Northern is offering several scholarships for current and prospective students to help cover the cost of a college education. Northern considers a variety of factors in determining scholarship awards including campus and community involvement, major, and personal experiences. Please complete this application no later than Monday, August 31, 2026.

Students selected for any Northern Scholarship will receive the funds in the Fall and Spring 2026-27 semesters upon verification of recipients' enrollment at Northern.

All current Northern students, college transfers, high school seniors, and high school equivalency students who will be attending in the fall, including international students, are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to students who register for the Fall 2026 semester by August 1, 2026.

Scholarship general eligibility requirements include that the student is pursuing a degree or certificate at Northern New Mexico College, is enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours during Fall 2026, and for current Northern Students must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Eligible applications will be evaluated and scored by the Financial Aid Office. The application deadline is August 31, 2026. Award recipients will be notified via the student's NNMC email.

Scholarship applicants may be asked to submit a letter of thanks to the scholarship donor.
