Thank you for taking this survey!
The Northbridge Planning Board, with assistance from the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC), is updating the Town's Master Plan. We are seeking your input to help identify community priorities for proposed recommendations.
What is a Master Plan?A Master Plan is a long-range strategic roadmap that outlines the town's vision and values and provides a framework for future decisions on land use, transportation, housing, economic development, natural resources, and community facilities. It reflects a shared vision of where the community intends to be in the coming decades, helping to shape local policies, and guiding public and private investments.
Community InputCommunity input is essential for the Master Plan. To date, the Master Plan steering committee has hosted a variety of public meetings, workshops, and surveys including a Community Workshop in July 2025, tabling at Plummer Place, a Business Community Forum, and presentations on Key Findings and draft strategies for each chapter of the Master Plan. Throughout the process, community feedback at events and responses to the 2025 Community Survey and Student Survey have informed and guided each drafted chapter of the Northbridge Master Plan.
