Turning Science into Stories: Careers in Editing at Cell Press - Registration

Join the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, the University of Toronto's Department of Medical Biophysics, and the UHN Office of Research Trainees (ORT) for "Turning Science into Stories: Careers in Editing at Cell Press", an in-person lunch and learn on January 16, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the Princess Margaret Hospital, Bob Bell Auditorium (6th Floor).

Throughout the hour, Dr. Janhavi Kolhe, Scientific Editor with Cell, will provide an insider's view of publishing with Cell and the broader Cell Press, covering what editors look for in submissions, how reviewers are selected, and how manuscript transfers work. She will also share insights for trainees and postdocs interested in editorial careers, offering a personal perspective on life as a scientific editor and guidance on the process.

This event is free and open to all UHN and U of T Medical Biophysics trainees, postdoctoral researchers, and staff. Register now as spots are limited!
