Every year, across every county in this Commonwealth, peer professionals show up, not because it's easy, but because it matters. They walk into jails and shelters. They sit beside someone in crisis. They answer the call at midnight. They advocate in county council chambers and in quiet hospital hallways. They do the work that changes lives, often without anyone watching.
Well, today, via this survey, we change that.
The Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition is proud to present the nominees for two of our most prestigious honors: the PaPSC Peer Advocate of the Year and the PaPSC Peer of the Year. These awards exist to recognize the extraordinary individuals who represent the very best of our field.
Each nominee was put forward by someone whose life they touched; a colleague, a supervisor, a peer, a friend. Their stories speak for themselves.
