Introduction

A new district park is coming to the Rutherford Road and Highway 27 area, and we want your input.

Saigon Park will serve future residential communities planned for the area, as well as the broader Woodbridge community, and is envisioned to be a destination for sports, such as soccer, tennis and pickleball.

The name “Saigon Park” comes from a Member’s Resolution (PDF) passed by Council to commemorate and celebrate Vaughan’s active and engaged Vietnamese-Canadian community. As such, the City is also planning for a portion of the new park to be dedicated to commemoration.
