The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is hosting a media training webinar for Asian community leaders in Canada. This training is part of the work related to the creation of the Canadian Anti-Asian Racism Coalition / a coalition to address anti-Asian racism in Canada as identified in federal Budget 2021.

Media Training has been identified as an area of need for community organizations that lead anti-Asian racism work across Canada.

The CRRF has partnered with Media Girlfriends, a production company that works with diverse communities. This workshop will be a resource for leaders in Canada’s Asian communities to build skills and learn to communicate with impact as they increasingly engage with the media on stories related to anti-Asian racism.

Participation in the webinar is free for attendees. To participate in the media training, please fill out this short expression of interest.

Please note that your expression of interest will be evaluated based on your alignment with anti-Asian racism work, media experience and expression of impact, as well as regional representation and organizational capacity. While there are limited spots available to ensure the participants get valuable training, we will maintain a waitlist and continue to offer this training in the near future.
