Introduction

The Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) is a national charity and professional body whose aim is to promote the best start in life for all babies, children, and families. The iHV is supporting The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to carry out an insights project about Bradford’s Public Health Nursing Service, which includes health visiting and school nursing services.

What is the survey about?

We want to hear from parents and carers of babies, children and young people aged up to 19 years in Bradford to help shape and improve Bradford’s Public Health Nursing service. This survey gives you the opportunity to share your views about these services, and how they work for you.

Completing the survey

  • This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. We recognise that your time is precious, and we have carefully selected questions to ask you so that we can learn as much as possible about your experience of Bradford’s Public Health Nursing service.
  • Your participation in this survey is voluntary and all the responses will be collected anonymously.
  • If you have any questions or need support to complete the survey, please email projects@ihv.org.uk or visit your local family hub in Bradford where staff can support you. To find your local family hub click here.
If you are interested in being interviewed or taking part in a short focus group to explore your views further, please tick the box at the end of this survey and provide your name and a contact email address. Every parent or carer who takes part in a short focus group or interview will receive a voucher as a thank you.

Thank you very much for your time.
