How has the Chicago pilot affected your views of electric scooter sharing?

Chicago is nearing the end of a 4-month electric scooter sharing pilot program. This new mobility option could advance or undermine the Active Transportation Alliance's mission to advocate for walking, bicycling, and public transportation to build healthy, sustainable and equitable communities.

The following survey is intended to collect input and feedback as Active Trans refines our position on how to properly regulate e-scooters in Chicago and the suburbs. We plan to issue a policy report on e-scooters around the end of the Chicago pilot on October 15.

The report will also be informed by a roundtable discussion with community leaders in the pilot area on Friday, September 13 (email julia@activetrans.org if interested).

In addition, Active Trans and Streetsblog Chicago are hosting a scooter feedback night at Revolution Taproom (3340 N. Kedzie) on Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30pm. RSVP to this free event today. Food and two beverages will be provided.

Thank you for sharing your ideas! Everyone who completes the survey is eligible to win a $100 Visa gift card.
