Adam Bouras- Tritonis Inc
Professional Background
I am a Senior Health Informatics professional and Entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of public health, clinical research, and digital transformation. I hold a Ph.D. in Health Informatics and dual Master’s degrees in Health Administration and Informatics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. My career has spanned the federal sector as an Informatics Fellow at the CDC, the corporate sector supporting Amgen and McKesson (Ontada), and the entrepreneurial space as Founder/CEO of Tritonis Inc. My technical expertise is rooted in the practical application of AI/ML, FHIR, and the OMOP Common Data Model to solve fragmented data silos. Notably, I led the implementation of ontological methodologies for the CDC’s Data Modernization Life Cycle and recently achieved a 70% improvement in clinical entity recognition for oncology data products at McKesson. As a current OHDSI Kheiron Fellow, I lead global initiatives in AI-assisted phenotyping, ensuring that health data remains findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).

Current Position
I currently serve as the Founder and CEO of Tritonis Inc., a New Jersey-based health technology firm where I lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-driven solutions for medication standardization and clinical data monetization. Additionally, I serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at Purdue Global University, where I teach the next generation of professionals in Information Systems Design and Implementation.

Statement of Interest & Objectives
As a resident of New Jersey and a long-time advocate for health information technology, I am eager to serve on the NJHIMSS Board of Directors to help our state remain at the forefront of digital health innovation. My primary objectives in serving on the board are:
Advancing AI Literacy & Readiness: I aim to lead initiatives that educate our members on the responsible integration of Generative and Agentic AI within NJ health systems, ensuring our workforce is prepared for the "AI-ready" data shift.

Fostering Interoperability Standards: Leveraging my experience with OHDSI and FHIR, I want to champion statewide efforts to improve data exchange between payers, providers, and life sciences partners to enhance patient outcomes across New Jersey.

Strengthening the Talent Pipeline: I am committed to mentoring early-career professionals and students within the NJHIMSS community, bridging the gap between academic informatics and industry requirements.

Entrepreneurial Engagement: I intend to leverage my experience as a founder to foster a more robust ecosystem for NJ-based health-tech startups, connecting local innovators with the broader HIMSS network.

My blend of scientific rigor and business acumen will provide a unique and valuable perspective to the board as we navigate the complexities of the 2027 healthcare landscape.
Melissa Denino - Innsena
I work in healthcare technology and policy with a focus on interoperability, Medicaid, correctional health, and community-based innovation, and I’ve spent my career helping states, HIEs, payers, providers, justice-involved programs, and community organizations operationalize data-sharing in ways that improve care for real people. I have been deeply involved in efforts to better integrate physical, behavioral, and social care for individuals in the correctional space, including work that supports transitions of care and continuity of services when people move in and out of custody. In my current role, I lead strategy and stakeholder engagement for health information exchange initiatives, rural and behavioral health programs, correctional health projects, and value-based care efforts, translating complex policy and technical requirements into actionable workplans and collaborations.

I am very interested in joining the NJHIMSS board because I see it as a powerful platform to elevate New Jersey’s role in national conversations about interoperability, equity, correctional health, and digital transformation, while also creating space for voices that are often missing from traditional health IT tables. I am currently working to serve as a liaison between the national HIMSS Tribal work and the New Jersey chapter, and board membership is required to meet those expectations and effectively bridge that work. My objective in serving is to:

Bring my experience in HIE, Medicaid, correctional health, and safety-net innovation to help shape chapter programming and strategy.

Build stronger connections between NJHIMSS and national initiatives, particularly those focused on Tribal, rural, justice-involved, and underserved communities.

Support more inclusive, cross-sector engagement across providers, payers, vendors, public health, corrections, Tribal partners, and community organizations so that NJHIMSS reflects the full ecosystem it serves.

Ultimately, I want to help NJHIMSS not only convene the conversation, but actively drive practical, measurable progress in how health IT supports all New Jersey communities—including Tribal, justice-involved, and marginalized populations—and serving on the board is the best way for me to contribute that value and meet the liaison requirements I’ve committed to.
Roy Fraticelli - GDT
I am an Account Manager at GDT, where I work with healthcare organizations on technology needs across networking, data center, storage, professional services, managed services, and product solutions. I have worked in the technology industry for more than 30 years, and a large part of my current focus is on hospitals in the Northeast.

My background has always been about building relationships, understanding what clients need, and helping connect them with the right solutions and the right people. One recent example was supporting a New Jersey hospital with a large wireless assessment and remediation plan to help prepare for an upcoming Epic deployment. I have also been involved in a major multi-year digital transformation effort for another hospital environment, helping support the mobility and collaboration infrastructure across 254 sites. Work like this has shown me how important strong, reliable technology is to the day-to-day success of hospitals.

I am interested in serving on the NJHIMSS Board because I live in Princeton, work closely with hospitals, and want to be more involved in the healthcare IT community here in New Jersey. I enjoy bringing people together, building relationships, and making connections that help people and organizations move forward. After more than 30 years in the industry, I feel I can bring experience, perspective, and a strong network to help support the chapter and its members.

I have also been encouraged by Tony Ferrante, a longtime friend and past president of the New York HIMSS chapter, who has been a mentor to me around HIMSS and the value of getting involved at the local chapter level. His encouragement helped reinforce for me that this is the right way for me to give back and contribute.

If selected, I would like to help in practical ways, especially around member engagement, sponsorship, and events. I am also happy to contribute wherever the chapter feels I can be most useful. To me, this is a chance to give back, stay involved, and help strengthen the healthcare IT community in New Jersey.
Joseph Kuleszynski - Bergen New Bridge Medical Center
I serve as Senior Director of Business Analytics and Strategy at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, where I built and lead the enterprise analytics function over the past six years and continue to shape organizational strategy. I bring over 25 years of experience using technology to drive culture change, with sixteen of those years focused in healthcare. My work connects clinical, operational, and financial systems to action, translating strategy into execution with over $40M in measurable impact. I have spent my career aligning people, systems, and incentives by asking tough questions and doing the work to answer them.

So I begin with these questions:
- What led you to HIMSS, and what do you truly want from it, for yourself and your organization?
- When we bring people together, what actually happens after the handshake?
- If a connection creates real potential, how do we ensure it survives the return to operations?

Together, we would use those answers to shape how this chapter continues to operate, supported by clear goals, simple entry points, proactive engagement, effective communication, measurable outcomes, and strong connections.

I believe in this community of system thinkers, clarity seekers, and curious people who want to help others. I want to support those just starting out, those in the middle working toward meaningful outcomes, and those stepping into leadership. I have stumbled and thrived through each of these steps, and serving on the board is a step toward becoming the mentor I once needed.

Create something real. Solve something hard. Share those moments with people who care.
Amanda Nagy - Atlantic Health
I currently serve as the Digital Transformation Manager at Atlantic Health System, where I oversee a broad portfolio of initiatives that enhance virtual care delivery and the digital patient experience. This background equips me with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by frontline teams, as well as the opportunities for technology to support more coordinated, effective, and patient‑centered care. I am committed to ensuring that chapter programming and advocacy reflect the real needs of healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.

Serving on the board would allow me to contribute my experience, expand my leadership impact, and help advance a mission I strongly believe in transforming healthcare through technology, collaboration, and continuous learning. I am ready to contribute energy, insight, and hands-on leadership to support the chapter and the broader healthcare community.
