To meet the complex challenges faced by legal aid nonprofit executive leaders, OneJustice is launching applications for the Strategic Leadership: Navigating the Now - an advanced, six-month training program exclusively designed for executive leaders. The program is designed for Executive Directors and Deputy Directors who have completed OneJustice’s Executive Fellowship and/or have two years of comparable experience as an Executive Director or Deputy Director. For purposes of this program, OneJustice defines “Executive Director” and “Deputy Director” as follows:

Executive Director (ED): As the organization’s "Chief Strategist," the ED engages in high-level service, including (and not limited to): serving as the primary external face of the organization, focusing on fundraising, advocacy, and long-term sustainability to ensure the organization has the resources and reputation to survive. Common titles include CEO or Executive Director.

Deputy Director (DD): A DD acts as the right hand to the ED as the organization’s "Operational Architect," working on (and not limited to): providing the structural stability and management oversight necessary to turn high-level strategic priorities into sustainable, day-to-day legal services and programs. Common titles include: Chief Operating Officer (COO), Associate Director, Director of Operations, Strategy Director or Deputy Director.

For any questions regarding eligibility please contact Martina I. Cucullu Lim (Strategy Director) at mclim@one-justice.org. Please note, EDs must approve DD involvement in the program. EDs and DDs of the same organization may apply.
