On behalf of the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), thank you for your interest in the North Grant Park – Streeterville (NGPS) Curbside Management Study.

This Curbside Management Study is a transportation demand management planning initiative focused on the densely populated areas of North Grant Park and Streeterville in Chicago. The map below shows the areas of North Grant Park and Streeterville that are included in this study:

Question Title

Michigan Avenue and John Baptiste DuSable Lake Shore Drive represent the western and eastern borders of the study, respectively. However, traffic and other transportation issues along these corridors are so complex that they need to be analyzed in their own studies, as CDOT has done or is currently doing. As a result, solutions for these two corridors will not be part of this Study’s recommendations.

The goal of the study is to better understand the related transportation and traffic problems encountered in the study area and assess prospective physical, operational, and regulatory solutions and recommendations.

The study will also help CDOT formalize its understanding and approach to curbside management. The solutions and strategies developed in this study may serve as a toolkit template for other Chicago neighborhoods.

Your input is important to the study. Please complete the survey questions below. The survey will take no more than 5 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your participation.
