Thank you for participating in this survey conducted by UKCISA.

Purpose: We are collecting your responses to explore how international students experience evidencing English language ability for UK study and how these experiences shape their preparedness for academic study and transition into UK higher education.

Data Controller: UKCISA is the data controller.

What we collect: This survey may collect personal data such as [list data, e.g., your email, IP address, or opinions].

How we use it: Your data will be used only for the purpose stated above. UKCISA may also use anonymised findings from this research in reports, policy briefings, presentations, communications, events, member engagement, discussions with policymakers and funders, and related future research or sector-facing work. Anonymised findings may also be shared with UKCISA’s appointed research partners or consultants, members, funders, policymakers and the wider education sector. Individuals will not be identified in any published outputs without separate permission.

Data Transfers: This survey is hosted on SurveyMonkey (based in the USA). Data transfer is covered by SurveyMonkey's Data Processing Agreement using standard contractual clauses.

Retention: We will retain your data for 6 months. Anonymised findings may be retained and used by UKCISA for research, reporting, policy, communications and related sector-facing work.
