We are seeking applications for a  4-week Composer Intensive for NSW-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music creators and APRA AMCOS members, offered by the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Music Office (the NATSIMO) in partnership with the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (the AGSC).
The NATSIMO Screen Composer Intensive in partnership with the AGSC aims to create a pathway to employment opportunities as a Screen Composer for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music creators.

The successful applicant will engage in the key tasks of screen composition and be immersed in production settings to observe the day-to-day practices at a number of partner screen-music production houses.

Through valuable access to: facilities, personnel, workspaces and observational and task based opportunities as relevant to the successful applicant's interests and development, the Intensive and applicant will be supported by the following partners:
Award winning Screen Composer (Amanda Brown) will also serve as mentor to support the participant by providing guidance to the overall program of activities.

The 4-week paid intensive will commence between mid-September and mid-October 2021 and is funded by Create NSW and APRA AMCOS.
