NNOHA 2026 Conference Scholarships for Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants

National Network for Oral Health Access’ (NNOHA) Annual Conference is the premier conference for dental team members who work in community health centers (CHC). Conference attendance allows people to network with colleagues with a shared mission, and learn and discuss topics and ideas relevant to their work in increasing access to oral health care.

NNOHA’s 2026 Annual Conference is October 25-28, 2026 in Seattle, Washington. NNOHA is pleased to offer its Annual Conference Scholarship. Dental hygienists and dental assistants are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship will cover 100% of base registration costs to the Annual Conference in Seattle. Sessions that require additional fees will not be covered under this scholarship. Scholarship awardees will be responsible for their own travel and lodging costs. Two total scholarships will be awarded for 2026: one for a dental hygienist and one for a dental assistant. Scholarship details are outlined below. Scholarships are due on June 1, 2026 via the online application. Emailed and paper applications will not be accepted.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must be:
  1. A dental hygienist or dental assistant employed in a community health center or look-alike; and
  2. A current NNOHA member upon application (organizational or individual membership).
  3. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible to apply.
Scholarship Details and Application

  2. The scholarship will provide a 100% discount on registration costs for the NNOHA Annual Conference. Pre-conference sessions, guest event passes, and tour fees are not included in this scholarship. Travel and hotel expenses are not covered as part of this scholarship.
  3. Awardees are responsible for their own travel and lodging costs.
  4. Scholarship applications are due by 5pm Pacific Time on June 1, 2026. Applications must be submitted through the online application. Emailed or paper applications will not be accepted.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed and scored by the selection committee. The reviewers will select individuals who are most likely to leverage this learning opportunity and who are eager to learn and apply the skills and knowledge gained from the Annual Conference. Preference will be given to first-time attendees.

Scholarship Notification and Distribution
  • Applicants will receive an email notification about their acceptance status by July 30, 2026.
  • Awardees will receive a discount code to apply to their registration. Awardees are responsible for registering for the Annual Conference on their own.
  • The scholarship may only apply to the 2026 Annual Conference (in-person event). If the awardee cannot attend the Annual Conference, they will forfeit their scholarship.
