The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is undertaking a review of its Zoning By-law and Urban Design Guidelines to help guide the Town’s growth.
Zoning By-laws are rules for how land in a town can be used. They tell us what kinds of uses, buildings and structures can go where. They also say how tall buildings can be, how far they should be from the street or neighbour’s property, and how many parking spots they need. These rules help keep communities organized and make sure new buildings fit in well.
Urban Design Guidelines are suggestions for how towns should look and feel. They help make sure buildings, streets, and parks are built in a way that makes the town a good place to live, walk around, and enjoy.
The purpose of this Community Survey is to collect feedback and help identify key issues and concerns that should be addressed through the project. We encourage you to register on the project webpage to help stay informed on project milestones and to hear about opportunities for future engagement on the Zoning By-law Review and Urban Design Guidelines!
This survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Questions may be skipped if desired.
