The PRCA are required to appoint a new Honorary Vice President on an annual basis. This process will always commence in Q1 of each year so that a candidate is in place by the AGM (September) when members will be asked to approve the appointment.

As per the articles and byelaws, the current Honorary Vice President automatically moves to the role of Honorary President. This is for a one-year term after which they will step down, and the Honorary Vice President will become the Honorary President.
We are currently recruiting for the PRCA Honorary Vice-President.

Criteria for applications are:
  • Must be a PRCA Company Member
  • Management board level experience within the communications industry.
  • The ability to commit a few hours per month.
  • Willing to serve a further term as President following the AGM.
  • Secure the written backing of at least three Company Members (not from the candidate’s own organisation).

The Honorary Vice-President will serve from their appointment until the 2026 AGM and then assume the role of President and serve for one year until the 2027 AGM.

PRCA members are now invited to put themselves forward for PRCA Honorary Vice-President by completing and submitting this form by 23:59BST on Friday 30th January 2026 and attaching a copy of their CV plus the written support of at least three other Company Members with their application.
