About This Survey

The State of Connecticut Sentencing Commission, Special Committee on Sex Offenders is conducting a survey of Connecticut residents to identify concerns related to sex offender sentencing, the State of Connecticut Sex Offender Registry, and the management and supervision of sex offenders who re-enter the community on probation or parole.

Any identifying information collected in the survey will not be shared and will be kept confidential. Responses will be compiled in a summary report which will assist the committee in making recommendations to the full Sentencing Commission in late 2017 regarding the sentencing and supervision of sex offenders.

The survey itself should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. You may skip any question and go to the next.  This survey can be completed online or printed and mailed to the Connecticut Sentencing Commission,185 Main Street, Room 212 New Britain, CT 06051. Survey responses will be accepted through June 2, 2017.
