Generation Housing Justice, a national fellow program led by the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC), brings more young adults ages 18-24 into the housing justice movement by equipping them to advocate for federal affordable housing solutions.

Twenty fellows will receive a stipend of $1,000 upon successful completion of the program and travel support to attend NLIHC's Housing Policy Forum in DC. Successful completion involves attending virtual monthly meetings November 2025-May 2026; attending NLIHC's Housing Policy Forum and Capitol Hill Day in DC, March 10-13, 2026; and completing a final project contributing to NLIHC's mission.

Application deadline is September 18, 2025 at 5pm ET. Fellows will be selected and notified by October 14. People with lived experience of housing instability and/or homelessness are encouraged to apply.

If you have any questions, or if you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application process, please contact outreach@nlihc.org or 202-507-7452.
