Montérégie - Questionnaire to document drinking water consumption habits
WARNING

For a better experience and ease of use, it is recommended to access this questionnaire with a computer or a tablet.
In Quebec, the average daily drinking water consumption per person is 245 litres. However, the provincial target established by the Government of Quebec is 220 litres. With increasing population density, climate change, and the depletion of groundwater and surface water, it is becoming even more important to use this resource more responsibly to avoid shortages in the future.

Behaviours associated with water usage are not well documented, and it is difficult to strive to reduce consumption without truly knowing the citizens’ situation of a municipality. This questionnaire is only intended to document, quantify, and understand citizens’ habits and to establish comparative data by activity.

The questionnaire is anonymous, and your data will be compiled by an external consultant who will generate a summary and comparative tables to better understand the situation of the citizens of your municipality. It contains 36 questions and should take 20 minutes to complete. The data will be available in a few weeks and used for future actions to help reach the provincial target.

Thank you for taking the time to help us document the use of such a precious natural resource.
