The City of Monroe is creating a vision for the future of the 140-acre Hy Property (see location map below), and community input will help shape the plan.
The site is currently used for farming but was formerly home to paper manufacturing. Since taking ownership in the 1990s, the City has completed brownfield planning and remediation efforts. The property is now part of the Mason Run Planned Unit Development and is being considered for new housing, small-scale community-serving retail, parks, greenspace, sidewalks, and trail connections.
It takes about five minutes to complete this survey and share your priorities for the future of the Hy Property, including the types of housing and amenities you would like to see considered.
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
