Milton Community Hall Supper - Eat in 6 p.m. Take out 5-5:30

Thanks to the Seniors Community Meal Grant from the Province of PEI, the Milton Community Hall is pleased to offer a series of four community meals for seniors. We aim to use local ingredients whenever possible and hope these meals will help ease some of the stress families and individuals may be facing. The current plan is a turkey supper (but as the last one was turkey, we may do roast beef).

Meals are available to eat in or take out, if necessary.

We hope to have entertainment after the supper.

The 3rd meal will be Thursday, December 11. The Hall will provide 110 free meals, with preference given to seniors living in Miltonvale Park. Delivery is available to Miltonvale Park shut-ins. If required, the storm date would likely be Dec. 12.

7.Please provide the names of the people you are registering. Time slot doesn't matter. Sometimes folks will accidently get signed up twice-so this is to help sort out double bookings - eg if two well-intentioned siblings both sign up aging parents. Also providing names also help ensure some of our vulnerable neighbours don't get missed. Thanks!(Required.)

8.Delivery is available for seniors and shut-ins within Miltonvale Park. Please let us know if you might be able to deliver meals to your neighbours.

Early in the week - shopping

Wed - prepping veggies, maybe baking

Week before or early in the week -baking desserts for the freezer, some prep for the meals

Thurs morning - slicing and or portioning meat

Thurs. afternoon - set up tables, package desserts and rolls.

Thur supper time/early evening - dishing out food, serving, washing dishes, delivery
