Malibu Community Wildfire Protection Plan - Public Feedback
1. Welcome to our Public Outreach Survey
The City of Malibu is developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). A major goal of the CWPP is to reduce the community's risk to wildland fire threats by building local capacities to prevent, mitigate, respond and recover from future incidents.
The purpose of this survey is to understand the experiences, perceptions, needs and concerns of local residents to past and future wildland fire threats. Information from this survey will assist the City and other key Stakeholders in developing community-based activities, educational programs, services, policies and other action items that not only help mitigate wildland fire risks but are also locally relevant, inclusive and sustainable.
The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. Only one survey response is requested per household. Please read the following questions and respond appropriately. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Results will be included in the final CWPP.
Your participation is important and critical to developing a plan that works for the 'whole' community. Thank you for helping make a more resilient Malibu!
