May 2026 Journal Watch: Early Career and Trainee Studies

The May issue of ISHLT Journal Watch, a periodic publication organized by the Early Career and Trainee Committee, will feature a selection of recent studies from early career and trainee members of ISHLT.

Typically, Journal Watch allows early career and trainee members an opportunity to share brief summaries and insights from recent publications in their specialties. In this special issue, the publication will instead highlight publications authored, led, and developed by early career and trainee members of the Society.

Editors for the issue will review the submitted studies and review a sampling of these studies for the official May publication.

All relevant submitted studies that are confirmed to include ISHLT early career or trainee members will be published in a bibliography alongside the final issue.
