Davis General Plan Update #2 Survey

Davis is evolving, and you have the power to help guide that change. After more than 20 years, the City of Davis is updating our community's blueprint—the General Plan—that will shape Davis for the next generation. This isn't just another government document. It's our shared vision for the community we love.

Survey #2 focuses on three land use concepts, which present preliminary ideas for how Davis can meet future housing and jobs needs.

Each concept tests different patterns of land use (how property is used and managed across Davis). These concepts allow the community to weigh trade-offs and establish a direction for Davis’ future physical form. Please note that the purpose of these concepts is to modify, combine and refine them into one preferred land use alternative. It is not expected that one of the concepts presented will move forward as the preferred land use alternative without revision. The community will review the preferred land use alternative in a future workshop.

Your thoughts will help Davis create a shared vision for the future.

Please note: the questions provided in this survey mirror the open house stations in Workshop #2 held on April 30, 2026.
