The Minnesota Evaluation Association (MNEA, www.mneval.org) is seeking two Student Representatives to serve on our volunteer board.

Student Representatives are responsible for attending monthly MNEA board meetings (held in the Twin Cities at various locations, on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30, with remote participation options available).

In addition to participating in MNEA board meetings, subcommittees and informal meetings, and activities, Student Representatives are responsible for sharing the perspectives of students, identifying issues that are relevant to evaluation students, and being a communication and membership link between MNEA and evaluation students.

We are seeking one Student Representative to support MNEA's Communications Chair in particular.

Student Representatives are responsible for leading the planning for at least one MNEA event per year. In 2019, MNEA is planning local activities and managing the Local Area Work Group for the 2019 AEA conference which will be held in Minneapolis in November 2019.  The Student Representatives would be asked to serve on the Local University Programs and Students subcommittee, which is tasked with disseminating relevant information about the conference to local university evaluation studies and related programs.

Student Representatives are appointed by the MNEA Board of Directors and serve a one-year term. We are currently looking for Student Representatives to start in June 2019 and serve through the academic year 2019-20.

Thank you for your interest in the MNEA student representative position!  Please complete this short application by April 30, 2019.

Best,
