Mentoring programme 2026/27 - Mentee application

Thank you for your interest in joining the CFA Society New Zealand Mentoring Programme 2026/27.

Our mentoring programme is designed to support the professional development of emerging finance and investment professionals while strengthening connections across New Zealand's CFA community.

As a mentee, you will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced investment professional, gain valuable career insights, expand your professional network, and become more involved with the CFA Society New Zealand community.

The mentoring relationship is led by the mentee. You will be responsible for initiating communication, setting meeting agendas and arranging meetings throughout the programme. Successful mentoring relationships are built on mutual respect, honesty, trust and confidentiality.

Please note that the purpose of this programme is to support your professional development and career growth. It is notintended as a job placement or recruitment programme.

Acceptance into the programme will depend on the number of mentor applications received and our ability to make suitable mentor-mentee matches. Some participants may be matched with mentors from different regions, with meetings held virtually where appropriate.

CFA Society New Zealand will provide guidance and resources throughout the programme to support both mentors and mentees.
