Attention! Authors intending to submit a workshop or challenge paper: The grant application deadline is earlier than most paper submission deadlines. Applicants do not need to wait for paper acceptance notifications to apply.

MICCAI Society Registration Grant (25 recipients)
Eligibility:
- Recipients of registration grants must have an accepted MICCAI2026 main conference paper or a MICCAI2026 satellite event paper. Satellite events include any MICCAI workshops, challenges, open-data, and also CLINICCAI. Applicants with a first-authored accepted paper will be prioritized. Applicants do not need to wait for paper acceptance notifications to apply (the application deadline falls before paper notification dates).
- Candidates who are a current student or within two years of their terminal degree (i.e., MICCAI Young Scientists), or those within four years of their terminal degree (i.e., Early-Career Scientists).
- Candidates from underserved gender and racial/ethnicity groups, differing abilities, low-income and lower-middle-income countries, or countries that are underrepresented in MICCAI conferences will be prioritized.

Details:
- Recipients of the MICCAI Society Registration Grants will receive waiver codes to cover conference and satellite event registrations and one-year society membership fee.
- Proof of student/early career/young scientist status and paper acceptance status will be required at the time of grant notification.
- Recipients are also required to submit proof of MICCAI2026 participation immediately after the conference.
- Successful candidates with a main conference accepted paper will be notified by email no later than June 22, 2026. Successful candidates with a workshop submission will be notified by email no later than August 3, 2026. Unsuccessful candidates will NOT be notified but will be maintained on a ranked list. When additional funds become available, the next-ranked candidate will be notified.
- The grants are intended to support in-person participation in the MICCAI conference. If a selected grantee is unable to attend the conference in person, the grant will be awarded to the next candidate on the ranked list.
